My name is Andrea McMann and I am a freelance writer based out of Nebraska. I have two children, ages two and five. I work at home and attempt to get something, anything done each day. When it comes to writing, my children are my muses and sometimes my saboteurs.
I have chosen to combine full-time mothering with freelancing, which are both tough jobs. My decision to pursue these careers has taught me some valuable lessons. I have discovered that it’s really hard to write (or think, for that matter) when a two-year-old is singing the Family Guy song at the top of her lungs. I have learned how to re-write a 1,000 word essay from memory when a little finger deletes an unsaved work. When my son started writing his own stories, I learned what it feels like when your child is proud of your work and wants to emulate you.
I take the good with the bad, clean the house when I can, and enjoy my life and my children as much as my stress levels will allow!

Well done on your achievements. You are a credit to work at home moms. I enjoy your blog. Keep up the good work!
